A few things to know about me.
The "Mad" in Madphotogirl stands for Madison. Madison is commonly referred to as Mad Town. I am really not angry. There is a Madphotoguy and Madphotoboy. You will see them mentioned a lot in this blog. I've been interested in photography since 1997. I am a little bit of a gear geek but that is ok, right? I have had my share of cameras but now I am a proud Nikon shooter. (Disregard the Canon camera pictured in my hand.) Follow my blog and I am sure we will laugh and learn together.

Nikkor = Nikon lens line
AF-S = AF motor is built into lens
VR = Vibration Reduction
DX = made for digital
IF= Internal Focusing
ED= Extra-low Dispersion glass
